Meaning of the Server Name: The name of the Server is based off of the Steamwheedle Cartel Faction which consists of Booty Bay, Everlook, Gadgetzan and Ratchet.

Timeline
2006
- March 21st, 2006: Steamwheedle Cartel opens its doors to new births in Azeroth.
- June 05, 2006: The War Effort to open the Gates of AQ began.
- June 12, 2006: Regardless of the War Effort, several Alliance raids into the Barrens finally set Mordread and Stormstrider into retaliation. As the final rays of sunlight dimmed, the First Battle of Ashenvale had begun. It lasted for five or six hours continuously, and saw some of the most bitter fighting in recent memory.
- July 06, 2006: The server opened for transfers from other servers (included PvE and PvP) causing a lot of talk on the boards and a lot of animosity from both sides.
- Sept 06, 2006: The Advent, using a transfer who completed all but the very final step of the Sceptre of the Shifting Sands on another server, opens the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj with the help of Enders and Dreadstorm.
- Sept 20, 2006: To Celebrate the 6 Month Mark of Steamwheedle Cartel being open, Maia organized a Hero Festival, with the help of her guild, Argent Exodus and various volunteers from both the Alliance and Horde. The Hero Festival consisted of a Hero Auction, Dueling Tournament, Tales of Heroism and Adventure, and, of course, plenty of Food and Drink. The Festival was held in Ratchet, as neutral ground for both the Alliance and Horde.
- October 07, 2006: The Trial of Keruptis Sa'Diablo
- October 28, 2006: Keruptis Sa'Diablo hosts the Hallow's End Bash at the Deadwind Pass Crypt.
- September 06, 2006: The mage Zerrai Dejorou of the guild
[Trauma] acquires a Staff of Dominance from the Rock Lord Golemagg. At the time, the significance of this one event were not known to soon rock the foundation of the Horde, and all of Azeroth.
- November 04, 2006: Death of Catrionae at the hands of the Scions of Darkness at the Altar of Storms(Burning Stepps Location) Artwork by Wanderspirit Hallowed Ground - Catrionae's Funeral
- On November 18 2006, Keruptis Sa'Diablo, in an effort to exterminate Griffonclaw, lured him to the Gurubashi Arena to put him to death. The Dark One was defeated. However, as the dust settled, the fragile pact between Alliance and the Horde broke down and returned to a state of distrust. Movie: Bittersweet Symphony
- December 06, 2006: The mage Zerrai Dejorou of the guild [Trauma] is arrested for the murder of three of her guildmates. Thrall sentenced her to be imprisoned and examined by a council of warlocks.
- December 09, 2006: The lady Premier of The Conclave, Jhullienne Treyakan, announces the official start of the Hunt for the fugitive, Zerrai Dejorou. Three houses (guilds) volunteer to search for the hunted; Wapasha of the Company of the Sword, Tarantules and Layr Marik of Martyr's Blood, and Krush Blackhorn of [The Hunt]. They were accepted, but were dispatched separately.
2007
- January 02, 2007: The fugitive, Zerrai Dejorou, turns herself in to the hunters Tarantules and Krush, and The Conclave.
- January 08, 2007: The Dark Portal opens and the Burning Legion pours forth into Azeroth. Lord Kruul is sighted in the Hinterlands, and members of the Elite Response Agency ride out to investigate.
- Tarren Mill is boldly attacked by a force of three, yet nearly wiped out. The forces came from the fields, and consisted of what appeared to be a Druid, Hunter, and Paladin. The names of the two companions are left unnoted, but the mastermind of this bold attack, due to the Dwarven spy Vagrath, has been revealed to be a relatively unknown pirate named Vaenderos. The Horde, in response, has issued a formal declaration for Honorbound to discover the source of this attack.
