Black Dragonflight is a PvP US Server launched April 11, 2006. This server, unlike most, opened allowing transfers from old PvE servers to this new PvP server. After some brief confusion, the AQ Gate was opened without the event as all of the servers that could transfer characters to Black Dragonflight had already completed the event.

Black Dragonflight runs on EST for its server time.

Black Dragonflight was home to the US Guild Overrated who were notoriously banned in October 2006 for hacking the gates to C'Thun in AQ40. This was a disappointment for they were the first Guild to clear all of Naxx.

Black Dragonflight is one of the last servers to come up every Tuesday, usually coming up at 4PM while other servers are usually up much earlier.

On the Horde side of Black Dragonflight resides one beastly Mage known only as Epsilon, Champion of the Frozen Wastes. This beast of a human being (or undead being, as it is) finds time in his schedule not only to be a beast, but to pull incredible amounts of DPS in raids and still have time to PvP on the side. What a winner. If you ever find yourself on Black Dragonflight, look up this beautiful creature of World of Warcraft and tell him how much you care.

The Server is in the Stormstrike Battlegroup, Horde win most AV's while Alliance dominate Arathi Basin, Eye of the Storm. While Warsong Gulch has no common victor.

Recently there has been an increase in world PvP and pre-mades. This is due to a few small PvP guilds merging on the horde side to focus primarily on PvP.

Most recently, a long standing sexy Horde side player by the name of Vorty (Steelmaggot, Vortumna, Terl and his many alts due to lack of a personal life) faction changed one alt to alliance, adding a server wide full annoyance to both factions. one would say this player is both loving and troublesome.

Over time, Black Dragonflight has come to collect a large number of players who seem to believe that standing in "colored shit on the ground" will benefit them.

A skilled Paladin healer known as Heavyg became enraged that he was not being respected for his 4k heals and proceeded to verbally attack people from the guild The Gladiators whom he was raiding with at the time.

Black Dragonflight features a strong WoW community in which many players of the server will show up to Blizzcon.

If you sign onto Black Dragonflight at any given moment of the day you will find an incredibly talented Priest healer known as Mstigress. Holding the record for way too many achievement points and way too much time on her(?) hands, she(?) manages the guild The Gladiators.
