This item requires the player to be a Paladin. This trinket is one of three rewards you get to choose from the Paladin quest Forging the Mightstone. The other rewards that can be chosen are 
[Lightforged Blade] and 
[Chivalrous Signet]. Right-clicking on the trinket increases critical strike rating and spell critical strike rating (30 second cooldown).
