The World of Warcraft Bestiary (or, incorrectly, "Beastiary") initially was the first teaser web site for World of Warcraft on the Blizzard web site. Each of the pages of the bestiary showed an animated sequence of monster with sound and a short bit of lore. Most of the mobs were from Alliance zones, since those were implemented earlier than much of the Horde zones.
Runeblades are usually swords inscribed with magical or demonic runes that grant certain powers to the wielder. All high-ranking death knights wield their own personal, named runeblade, called vampiric runeblades. However, runeblades are not unique to the Scourge. Although Frostmourne is undoubtedly the most prominent runeblade in existence (Kael'thas' Felo'melorn, or the Ashbringer being the second), there are quite a few additional ones.

It was later followed by bestiaries for The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King expansions. The articles did however not survive the overhaul of the World of Warcraft Official Website. Apparently, no bestiary was introduced for the Cataclysm expansioncitation needed.

Template:WoW The World of Warcraft Bestiary (or, incorrectly, "Beastiary") initially was the first teaser web site for World of Warcraft on the Blizzard web site. It eventually turned into the Town Hall and the "bestiary" pages were only linked from pages therein.

Each of the pages of the bestiary showed an animated sequence of monster with sound and a short bit of lore. Most of the mobs were from Alliance zones, since those were implemented earlier than much of the Horde zones.

It was later followed by bestiaries for The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King expansions. The articles did however not survive the overhaul of the World of Warcraft Official Website. Apparently, no bestiary was introduced for the Cataclysm expansion[citation needed] .
