The Ruby Sanctum is the red dragonflight's sanctum within the Chamber of Aspects beneath Wyrmrest Temple in Dragonblight. It will be a raid dungeon, implemented in patch 3.3.5.[1] Due to a bug in patch 3.3.3, the raid reset times were displayed on the in-game calendar prior to the dungeon's release. The 10-player version was set to reset daily at 11am, and the 25-player version was set to reset weekly along with other weekly raid resets. The 25-player version was later removed from the calendar and the 10-player version was moved to the regular weekly reset time. This may not reflect the actual reset times when the Ruby Sanctum goes live.
This dungeon will not be immediately available after patch 3.3.5 goes live in an effort to make sure all players world-wide has the patch available to them before this instance is turned on.[2]
Encounters
The black dragonflight has assaulted the sanctum and is attempting to destroy it to facilitate Deathwing's reemergence into Azeroth.[3] Halion will be the primary encounter, along with three mini-encounters that must be completed prior to him.[3][4] Unlike the Obsidian Sanctum, there are no progressive hard modes from leaving up some or all of the minibosses.[5] Loot will be comparable to that of Icecrown Citadel.[6]
