- Use: Summons and dismisses a rideable Blue Proto-Drake. This is a very fast mount. This mount can only be summoned in Outland or Northrend.
The Blue Proto-Drake is one of the new proto-dragon mounts added to the game.

This mount is dropped by by the third boss in heroic Utgarde Pinnacle, Skadi the Ruthless. As of writing it had a 0.5% drop chance according to wowhead, however due to the low amount of data available this is probably not completely accurate.

This is one of three rare drop proto-dragon mounts that can be obtained in wrath of the lich king, there are also another 4 proto-dragon mounts obtainable through the achievement system.
