In World of Warcraft, rare can mean a couple of things.
Rare Quality
The level of item quality above Template:Uncommon, but below Template:Epic.
Additional notes
- The names of Rare quality items will appear in blue.
- Equippable items of Rare quality almost always have one or more attribute bonuses and some have procs.
- Equippable items at Rare quality and above can be disenchanted by characters with the Enchanting profession.
- Some ingredient items are of Rare quality.
- Sometimes called 'Superior' quality.
