The wild sparrowhawks of Nagrand have the keenest sight of all the predatory birds here. But, because of their size, they've been pushed out of most areas by the larger windrocs.

Most of the sparrowhawks nest here, on the Twilight Ridge. If you can catch one, I'll train it to spot the pieces of your buried tablet.

It's going to be difficult, though. The sparrowhawks are very skittish and will flee at your approach. I'd suggest cornering one or prowling to get close enough to cast your net.

Did you catch one of the sparrowhawks?

Well done! I'm still in the process of getting the hawks to trust me, but I know enough about them to train this one for your needs.

The Sparrowhawks will sense danger and flee quickly whenever you come up near it. Consider using [[Hibernate]] or [[Soothe Animal]] to prevent their flight.

Southwind Village

Southwind Village

Southwind Village was once a night elven base of operation in Silithus, but was destroyed by the qiraji during the War of the Shifting Sands. Valstann Staghelm, son of Fandral Staghelm, led a detatchment of the night elven army to defend the village, but was captured by General Rajaxx after his troops were slaughtered by the swarming qiraji. Today, Southwind Village has been long since overrun by relentless silithid that infest large parts of that area. The horror of the village's initial sundering still echos through time — the tortured spirits of fallen druids and Sentinels wander the ruins aimlessly, and are led by Shade of Ambermoon.
