Circle of Healing (CoH) is the Tier 6 Holy priest talent ability. It is an instant-cast spell that heals up to 5 nearby party or raid members within a 30 yard radius of the target. The spell works as a "smart heal", automatically prioritizing the targets with the least amount of absolute health, selecting targets within 30 yards of whomever you cast the spell on. It does not necessarily heal the person you cast the spell on.

This tower can be found by swimming round from northern Tirisfal Glades, staying close to the shoreline so as not to induce fatigue. Its purpose is unknown but it has been speculated that it represents an abandonded idea for allowing player to access Quel'Thalas. Other theories are that it is part of upcoming content to do with the next expansion (unlikely, at this point) or was left over from before Quel'Thalas's current form was conceived. Much of the surrounding terrain bears the hallmarks of a "cookie-cutter" terrain editor fill and it is equally possible that this location is nothing more than the result of a bored developer playing around in an unused area of the game.

Circle of Healing comes with a 10-second cooldown, but the cooldown is reduced to 8 seconds while inside the Chakra: Sanctuary state (aka "AoE Chakra").
−
If you continue past this tower, you can see that the blood elf starting area is not, in fact, part of the Eastern Kingdoms terrain. (It is not located on the Eastern Kingdoms continent server.) This can be seen in the second image, where the character is swimming in the sea, but her map shows her in the middle of the Ghostlands. Players attempting the reverse of this trick (accessing Tirisfal from the Ghostlands) will find invisible walls blocking their path.

A similar situation should exist for the draenei islands, but fatigue makes it difficult, if not impossible, to test.

Circle of Healing receives a spell power coefficient of 20% per target.

Originally, Quel'Thalas was intended to be in the game at release, but was eventually postponed. When the first expansion was made, they decided to cut the nation into two zones, and to place it on the Outland continent server, making it easier to restrict access to those who had purchased the expansion. You can check this by hearthing to Outland from the blood elf or dranei zones (or vice versa) — no loading screen will appear, as your character does not need to be transferred between continent servers. This also causes the minimap arrow for party members in the blood elf zones to appear on your minimap when you are in Outland.

* Circle of Healing is a major contributor to the impressive burst healing ability of the holy priest. The spell can be used directly following a Prayer of Healing, healing 5 targets at virtually the same time (6 if glyphed).
  +
* Being a "smart heal", the spell does very low amounts of overhealing. Many priests end up spamming the spell on cooldown due to it pushing priests high on healing meters as a result.
  +
* The heal will not be a major hitter alone, healing for low amounts of healing on individual targets. But paired with Test of Faith and/or any other heal to follow up, it makes a notable difference.
  +
* In TBC and in early Wotlk, the dominant healing style of the Holy priest was to spam this spell mindlessly. The massive amount of healing done by "CoH-spam" trivialized a lot of encounters, which led Blizzard to add (and later increase) the spell's cooldown.

Notes

 • Circle of Healing is a major contributor to the impressive burst healing ability of the holy priest. The spell can be used directly following a Spell holy prayerofhealing02 [Prayer of Healing], healing 5 targets at virtually the same time (6 if glyphed).
 • Being a "smart heal", the spell does very low amounts of overhealing. Many priests end up spamming the spell on cooldown due to it pushing priests high on healing meters as a result.
 • The heal will not be a major hitter alone, healing for low amounts of healing on individual targets. But paired with Spell holy testoffaith [Test of Faith] and/or any other heal to follow up, it makes a notable difference.
 • In TBC and in early Wotlk, the dominant healing style of the Holy priest was to spam this spell mindlessly. The massive amount of healing done by "CoH-spam" trivialized a lot of encounters, which led Blizzard to add (and later increase) the spell's cooldown.

Improvements

 • Inspiration reduces your target's physical damage taken by 5/10% after getting a critical effect from your Circle of Healing.
 • The Chakra: Sanctuary state increases the the healing done by all your area of effect spells by 15% and reduces the cooldown of your Circle of Healing by 2 seconds.
 • Spell holy testoffaith [Test of Faith] increases healing by 4/8/12% on targets below 50% health. This works well with CoH due to its preferential selection of the targets with the lowest health.
 • Spell holy sealofvengeance [Twin Disciplines] increases your Shadow and Holy spell damage and healing by 2/4/6%.
 • Spell holy dispelmagic [Mental Agility] reduces the mana cost of all your instant cast spells by 4/7/10%.
