Primal Air is to elemental air what elemental air is to the stuff you breathe. It is used in a wide range of high-end recipes.

The primary source for Primal Air is by combining 10 motes of air into one Primal Air. Motes of Air are mainly found by dissecting high level Air Elementals, most commonly those in Nagrand.

Primal Air can also be created through Alchemy with the Transmute: Primal Water to Air recipe.

Common locations for Air Elementals with high mote drop rates are the Elemental Plateau and certain areas in Shadowmoon Valley
