The Shaper's Terrace

Could we possibly have the REDIRECT of The Shaper's Terrace changed back? Shaper's Terrace and The Shaper's Terrace are not in the same area of Un'Goro - one is above Ironstone Plateau and the other is above what was Marshal's Refuge - the two are not connected. As the current page stands, it confuses readers into thinking that both are one and the same, which they are not.Frejya (talk) 02:02, July 18, 2010 (UTC)

Riding from The Shaper's Terrace above Marshal's Refuge - on a regular flying mount, running past the Waygate and along the hills - it takes just under a full minute to reach the other Shaper's Terrace. There is no pathway between them and they are completely separate. In fact, one is to the cardinal north of the zone while the other is to the cardinal east.Frejya (talk) 02:42, July 18, 2010 (UTC)

If you are correct in thinking that there are two different subzones in the same zone separated (in name) only by a 'the', then we have a problem. WoWWiki omits articles from page titles. I was looking at the 'Crypt' page and wondering if this might be an example where disambiguation would be more appropriate. I was thinking that in Cataclysm that I might delete Zalar, re-make him as a druid, and then create another character as a shaman; perhaps a goblin or draenei. Removed with Cataclysm

If the first quest of a chain is removed with cataclysm, you might well want to mark any associated quest chain page, and perhaps any additional quests that are affected.

Meanwhile, you know that Stalvan himself is no more? Is just the quest starter removed? Has the quest been migrated to other people, perhaps? --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 21:07, September 28, 2010 (UTC)

The quest chain - based on what I've seen and read from people who (unlike me, alas) are in beta - has apparently been moved to Tobias and set after we killed Stalvan. The quest descriptions clearly state he's dead and buried on the grounds of Manor Mistmantle. So "no more" might be much - "not moving", perhaps... --Joshmaul (talk) 21:40, September 28, 2010 (UTC)

Move Seekthreed

If you wouldn't mind, it'd be nice if you could move Seekthreed over to Saavedro's Coalition; I more or less made him become sane again and seek forgiveness from Artimus and Ketiron, which I said that they had accepted.

I've made a worgen DK on Medivh and made a page for him. I haven't put in very much yet, but I figured I'd just make a basic page for now and add in some stuff later. I put him up as one of the Deathsworn, but they have quite a few members at the moment, so I'm not entirely sure. Take a look at what I've put down and tell me what you think when you get a chance. If you want, put a word in with somebody in TheCatsMeow and ask for an invite. Tell them Devaneaux sent you (that's how they know me there). As for the Deathsworn - I may make a new tab for the Shadowhowl pack (as they're known).

I had actally considered changing Devaneaux himself into a worgen, explaining it as being Artimus' son Kieran (Artimus himself would remain as a background player), saying that he had been corrupted by Arugal and then brought into the Scourge. I have yet to make a decision, and at the moment we don't have money available (I got $200 for Christmas from my great-grandfather and have only spent $25 - I can only use it as long as my stepfather has money, since I put the 200 in his bank account, since I don't make my own money, heh). --

Urgh. I'm having trouble coming up with an actual background for Siegfrid, since, with Cataclysm, whatever little sense the Warcraft timeline made has been thrown out the window (due to the odd nature of the Gilnean Civil War, what with it apparently starting a little bit after the Wall is built and ending a little bit before the Cataclysm, and how DKs start in Wrath of the Lich King and apparently warp through space-time for their last quest to after the Lich King is dead). This would be so much easier if Blizzard had an established timeline that actually made any sense at all. --

From A Curious Fan....

Yo, I just wanna say ima huge fan of you fan fiction, love your character articles (took some of death knight ones as inspiration for my sole character article thus far.)

I noticed that you've stopped playing on your Saavedro character. I had an interesting idea: Since you brought Joshmaul back and thus Ammenkayn's prophecy was rendered null and void, maybe you could resurrect Saavedro so that when he and Joshmaul meet for the final time it really IS in such a way that Joshmaul can never return? Like Jaeden'laek can have a vision that Ammenkayn's prophecy was false or something, and he seeks Velen and Malfurion Stormrage for counsel, and only the combined magics of a Priest or Druid could bring him back. (Like Gandalf was brought back in the Lord of The Rings saga; he could be renamed Saavedro of Lordaeron or something....)

Greetings! Good to see more readers. *grin* You may be interested to know that I have recently started a blog, with Master Ketiron narrating the wars of the Cataclysm (mostly from a Horde perspective, but Master Ketiron tries his best to be objective). The link is here; it goes in chronological order from first to last.

As for your proposal - for the last few months, I have flirted with the idea of resurrecting Saavedro, either as a death knight - which would be a MAJOR blow to his pals, considering! - or in his old job as a paladin, if only because he was "there" right up until the end in Northrend (when I faction-swapped him to Ketiron in December 2009, it was right in the beginning of Icecrown Citadel; thus, all the fighting with the Lich King was as Ketiron...I wrote Saavedro off as "dead" once my guild killed him, even though I myself have not...yet) and it would be interesting to see him in the world beyond the Cataclysm. Only trouble is, on both the servers I play on - Medivh and Cenarion Circle - the name is taken. And the paladin that was Saavedro is currently a tauren paladin (Telek Eaglespear), and he is heavily invested in his Horde guild; I don't think ViceJaw would forgive me if I pulled stakes and went Alliance, especially considering the amount of work I put into him recently.

For all intents and purposes, Saavedro is dead; given the impact he has made on many of the characters, however, he is certainly not forgotten. There may be time somewhere down the line, however... --

I've made it so that Zae's masquerading as a noble in the Council of Silvermoon in order to back Kel'tanis as a means of attaining revenge against Ketiron for thwarting his attempt at a coup.
