This pet quite possibly has the smallest drop rate in the game, with approximately 0.0007 = 0.07% (one in every seventy thousand kills) and so takes an incredible amount of patience and determination in order to get one. Due to the difficulty of obtaining one, and thus their rarity, they can sell for huge amounts of gold on the Auction House. Prices seen up to 10,000g on some servers.
Many people doubt the rarity of this pet, and argue about its true value. If the drop is this low or not isn't the issue, its admitting that it is the lowest, and rarest drop in game. While some confuse it with other parrots, and ignore, hard-core Collectors all agree this is a bird not to pass up, no matter the price, or time spent acquiring.
