Nesingwary's Expedition

Nesingwary's Expedition

Nesingwary's Camp (Cataclysm)

Nesingwary's Expedition fortified after the Cataclysm

Nesingwary's Expedition is situated just below the river north of Lake Nazferiti in Stranglethorn Vale. In the period before the reopening of the Dark Portal, the dwarven master hunter Hemet Nesingwary led an expedition into Stranglethorn to hunt some of the wild game that traversed the jungles. After the way to Outland was opened, Nesingwary left the Stranglethorn expedition in the hands of his son, Hemet Jr., and travelled to Nagrand to pursue more dangerous game.

This camp is widely regarded as one of the most dangerous and volatile places in the game on PvP servers, regardless of your level — with a seemingly endless supply of level 30-40 players and roaming gankers at 60+ to test the mettle of those who choose to quest in STV.

This barely qualifies as a town, but it does feature a repair-capable weapons vendor and some static quest-giving NPCs.
