The mini fel reaver has quite a lot of armor and health and also has a heavy damage taunt and a stun to interrupt Negatron's Earthquakes. The fight is basically to kill Negatron before he kills the mini fel reaver, for if he does you can still kill him and complete the quest, but it will be much harder for he hits like a truck.
