Mankrik is a level 15 quest giver located at the Crossroads in the Horde-aligned territory of the Barrens.
Many people misspell Mankrik to Mankirk.
It is possible that Mankrik is a former member of the Burning Blade Clan and a blademaster, as he shows signs of obsession (asking you to kill dozens of thorntusks) and also displays a Burning Blade banner outside his hut.
He starts the following quests:

Cataclysm
In the upcoming expansion World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, Mankirk can be found north of the Great Lift killing many Quilboars.
Near the time of the Cataclysm, Mankrik will finally recover and bury his wife, ending the legend.[1]
