Sorrem is a level 35 blood elf quest giver at Furien's Post in Desolace. When he receives news of Furien's death he finds it regrettable and aids Cerelia in avenging his death, which ends with Horde adventures launching a devastating attack on Nijel's Point. He also sends Horde adventures to kill Kohor of the Burning Blade to silence his taunts over the death of one of the Horde's scouts.

However in Kohor's dying breath he mentioned that the Burning Blade was summoning a demon that could threaten the denizens of Desolace. Despite thinking it a bluff Sorrem was smart to realize that the Horde couldn't take a chance and sends adventures to get the [Ancient Summoning Ritual]. Feeling the prematurely summoning the demon would leave vulnerable enough to be killed he sends adventures to collect 100 Bleached Skulls from Thunder Axe Fortress, place them at the Burning Blade Summoning Circle, and kill Nazargen.

Sorrem's disdain of the Burning Blade is so great that he smiles as he accepts 25 Burning Blade Ears.
