Leading the Cavalry requires that you are able to summon 50 different mounts. Temporary items that let you ride a mount do not count towards this achievement. Upon completion, Mei Francis will mail you the [Reins of the Albino Drake], a swift flying mount.

This achievement is impossible without The Burning Crusade expansion. Furthermore, the reward is usable only in Outland or Northrend.

Strategy

• At level 60, when you have exalted reuptation with all your faction's home cities, you can acquire approx 30 mounts from these cities.
• You can acquire 1 mount in Alterac Valley, and 4 more mounts from Hall of Legends or Champions' Hall, from battleground tokens
• When you are exalted with the Nagrand faction, you can purchase 8 Riding or War Tabuks.
• When you are level 70 you can purchase 7 flying mounts in Shadowmoon Valley.
• When you are exalted with the Sha'tari Skyguard you have 5 nether ray mounts
• When you are exalted with the Netherwing faction, you have 6 drake mounts
• Mei Francis in Dalaran sells four mounts.
• Grand Master tailors can build 2 flying mounts.
• Grand Master engineers can build 2 flying mounts and 1 ground mount.
• Warlocks and Paladins get a summonable mount at level 40 and another at 60. Death Knights get a summonable mount at level 55.
