Lavanthor is a core hound boss located in Violet Hold.

Abilities

•  Cauterizing Flame — Inflicts 3238 to 3762 Fire damage to nearby enemies and increases the Fire damage it takes by 35% for 3 min.
•  Firebolt — Deals 1890 to 2310 (3300 - 4600 heroic) Fire damage to the target
•  Flamebreath — Inflicts 2868 to 3332 (5735 - 6665 heroic) Fire damage to enemies in a cone in front of the caster.
•  Lava Burn — Spits a Lava Bomb at an enemy, inflicting 1943 to 2257 Fire damage. ( 3793 - 4407 heroic) Fire damage to enemies in a cone in front of the caster.

Tactics

Face him away from the group because of his flame breath attack, tank him on the stairs next to his holding cell. When he begins to cast lava burst back up a few steps to avoid the AOE damage of it. Easy tank N spank just keep stepping backwards during the fight when he lava bursts.
