For all those who don't know me I'm the spanish wowpedia admin and a massive editor of the old wikia wiki. For two years I was pleading to wikia for an admin because we never had css neither js commons, can.'t delete nothing... etc. Never got an answer except "We'll think about it". Since we left wikia, the wiki is full of shit and NOW wikia has put the eye on it, improving all the features, deleting the junk and.... copying the main page from the spanish wowpedia, the code and probably all the new editions we do.
Links that do not conform to the rules will be DELETED.

Cataclysm is a nice candy to get users now the wiki is empty but this acts aren't ethic. I know we publish under CC liceneses but, is that legal?

Forums: Village pump → Wikia is plagiarizing code and main portals from wowpedia

Hello to everybody.

Cataclysm is a nice candy to get users now the wiki is empty but this acts aren't ethic. I know we publish under CC liceneses but, is that legal?

A member of the wikia staff are changing the wiki and writing in the comment box why they are doing this. In the screen from the last changes he wrote (translated from spanish) 9:34 "I have no idea about the spanish names (ES) (MX) Content from wowpedia" 9:34 "I let the redirect links corrected to wowpedia, have to bring the images. Content from the wowpedia". 9:30 "Hope the names match. Content from woweiki"

wikia and spanish wowpedia
