'''Kandrostrasz''' is a member of the Brood of [[Alexstrasza]] inside the [[Temple of Ahn'Qiraj]] who gives adventurers [[Temple of Ahn'Qiraj Quest Loot|high level boots and pants]] for turning in special loot items to him. [[Andorgos]] gives adventurers helms and shoulders while [[Vethsera]] gives chest items. The three are located just past [[The Prophet Skeram]].

Kandrostrasz, along with Andrgos and Vethsera, came to the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj after sensing their enslaved brethren deep inside the Qiraji city. However they are unable to attempt to rescue their flightmembers without also falling prey to same spell which holds [[Caelestrasz]], [[Arygos]], and [[Merithra]] as [[C'thun]]'s slaves. The three wait at the entrance of the temple hoping to find adventurers who will venture into the city to free their brethren, and provide the adventurers with powerful pieces of armor in return for bringing them specific items obtained from defeating C'thun and his minions.

This quest starts the chain that results in the phased area of Shadow Vault becoming populated with vendors and a flight point.

Objectives

Destroy The Ocular and then report to Baron Sliver at The Shadow Vault.

Description

The Knights of the Ebon Blade want to take the Scourge base known as The Shadow Vault to the northwest. I have a contact in their group who has asked for help.

The first step is to blind the Lich King. He's using a device known as The Ocular to watch the area, which floats above the vault's spires.

Our goblins have created something for you to use against it. After the 'eye' has been destroyed, find Baron Sliver on the vault grounds. He's pretending to still be under the Lich King's will.

Progress

The Ocular still stands! Koltira was a fool to trust you.

Whoever you are, don't return again until it is destroyed. My position here must not be compromised.

Completion

Perhaps now we can really get something done. Don't be fooled though, the Lich King can still 'see' through his Scourge minions.

The blaster has a range of 80 yards, which is the ocular's aggro radius. It will take 10 shots of the blaster to kill it.
