On Draenor, Kairoz assumes the guise of an orc and accompanies Garrosh to the Warsong Clan territory in Nagrand (Draenor). Before approaching the encampment proper, Kairoz divulges his intention to use an infinite number of alternate hordes to conquer whatever he pleases. In response Garrosh attempts to attack the bronze dragon but fails as Kairoz still possesses a shard from the Vision of Time allowing him to shift back to the moment when Garrosh was about to lunge. After elaborating on the potential of the remaining shard in his possession he gives in to Garrosh, assuming that he had effectively tightened the leash. Instead he found himself violently stabbed to death with the last shard of his own device, wielded by the orc he had spent so much time trying to manipulate.
Kairos (καιρός) is a Greek word meaning the right or opportune moment (the supreme moment). The Greeks have two words for time, chronos and kairos. While the former refers to chronological or sequential time, the latter signifies a time lapse, a moment of indeterminate time in which everything happens.
