Janeiro's Point
Janeiro's Point is a small island just outside Booty Bay, upon which a giant statue of Baron Revilgaz was built as a beacon to all travelers. It is said that Janeiro's Point has one of the best, night veiws of the White Lady.
Recently a malevolent Sea Giant Mok'rash has chosen the island as his abode.

Trivia
- The statue and its name is obviously a reference to the statue of Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro.
- The island is said to have one of the most beautiful views of the White Lady at night.[citation needed]
Cataclysm
In the upcoming expansion World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, Janeiro's Point for the most part takes little damage. The giant statue of Baron Revilgaz however takes damage. His left arm is destroyed, allowing entry by flying mount into the statue. Inside is a small alcove filled with unlootable treasure and chest.
