World of Warcraft's quest system almost eliminates the need for grinding. Characters can quickly earn levels by constantly going on quests, avoiding the feel of a leveling treadmill. Some players, however, prefer grinding over questing, and will ignore quests in favor of massive amounts of creep kills.
