Grenda was one of the dwarves under Rom's command that stayed near Grim Batol after the event's in Day of the Dragon (even though she was not mentioned in Day of the Dragon). When Rom's group of warriors and Vereesa Windrunner tries to hold of an attack from Fire elementalsTemplate:Cite, a hole appears and some of the dwarven warriors fall down (including Rom). Grenda and Vereesa and what's left of the group is captured, and when they escape she assume command over the dwarven.
