Forums: Village pumpWarcraft lore True Undeath
(This topic is archived. Please do not edit this page!)
  • "...rotting corpses were once innocent townsfolk who have made the final transition into true undeath"
  • "...Shadow ascendants attend the cult as prophets, leading clergies to the path of true undeath."
  • "Zombies are a variant of the undead. They are reanimated corpses who have not yet completed the transition into the "true" undeath form of ghouls"

I thought true undeath was being undead and still being able to think as one of the feats, well... apparently not. So,...what powers do a true undead have that a regular undead does not? --TherasTaneel (talk) 21:32, June 13, 2010 (UTC)

Undead biology is a subject that I wish was touched upon more, but I assume it has something to do with a creature that is only an animated corpse growing (something dead things cannot do) big jagged teeth and claws (beyond the normal "claws" real withered corpses get). Some kind of post-mortem mutation or transformation due to the plague. Maybe the health regeneration that they gain from cannibalizing corpses stems from the consumed flesh regenerating their own flesh somehow.--SWM2448 22:04, June 13, 2010 (UTC)
