99% of the players of WoW have all three expansions, without them, you'll never reach endgame and content will never update for you. Content only updates for the high end players; which you can't read. 0.9% of the players only have Burnign Crusade, and 0.01 only have Classic. If you don't have the latest version; yes; you'll be an outcast, you'll be left behind, you'll miss out on a bunch, you won't experience anything new; and things will eventually get boring because you'll eventually master all the raids and never get to try new ones. As I said, you dont HAVE to buy them though. [[User:TeeSon5|TeeSon5]] ([[User talk:TeeSon5|talk]]) 22:50, November 21, 2009 (UTC) |

I am curious, i know to get the full experience of WOW you need to have buy the expansions. But do you need to buy all of them? Or can i buy the lich king expansion and call it good? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Losthero253 (talk · contr).
- Yes, Wotlk requires BC and BC requires Classic.

- You'll need to buy WoW classic+Burning Crusade+Wrath. See WoW Account management for details. --k_d3 21:29, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
- That depends on what you mean by full experience. If you mean classic wow experience, no. If you mean all content, yes. Does that answer your question? BobNamataki (talk) 22:26, November 21, 2009 (UTC)
- To make a Blood Elf or Draenei, or to get past level 60 and access Outlands, you need The Burning Crusade. To access Death Knights, Northrend, and level 70+, you need Wrath of the Litch King. To access level 80+ and more things to come, you need Cataclysm.
