I think somewhere on the wiki I read that you are allowed to change your character's appearance so long as you do not talk about it in the chatbox. However, before trying this, I would like to verify that. But I didn't bookmark the page, and I'm not exactly eager to go through all 90000 pages. A search for "Change Appearance" does not seem to work. Anyone else seen it?
Also, how DO you change your avatar? XD

- For the wiki, go to the top right of your page and you should be able to open the drop-down menu that appears when you hover over your name. Choose 'my preferences' and then scroll down close to the bottom of the page to change your avatar. Raylan13 (talk) 21:32, April 4, 2011 (UTC)
No, I mean in World of Warcraft User:JollyRogerInvasion/Sig 15:25, April 8, 2011 (UTC)
- It seems what you might be referring to is the character portrait. There's no way to do that with the base ui, but you can download an AddOn from a site like Curse. It's perfectly legit to use, so there's no issue about 'not talking about it'. Maybe something like this. There are others available, so just do a search on the site. Hope you find what you're looking for! Raylan13 (talk) 17:11, April 8, 2011 (UTC)
No, I mean the 3-d model the game uses to represent you in the game. For example, could I change my appearance to a squirrel (not the portrait)? User:JollyRogerInvasion/Sig 16:03, April 15, 2011 (UTC)
- The only way to legitimately change your character's appearance in the game is through the methods Fandyllic posted above. I think any other way would involve altering the game files, which would be against the rules Blizzard has. As such, even if there was a way to do so, we wouldn't be allowed to post it on this site.
