Forums: Village pump → Warcraft games → /cast !spellname
I tried searching both the WowWiki and the official WoW forums, but I think the ! is messing with the search functions. What exactly does the ! do in a cast macro?
/Cast !"Spellname"

- "!spellname" indicates that you have to put your spellname there. No need for a ! before the name.
- /cast Shadowbolt(Rank 1)

- Yes I know it works without the !
- What I want to know, is what the ! does.
- Ive seen some macros use it but I haven't been able to determine what it does specificly.
