Overview
Drain Mana is a channeled spell that absorbs mana from the target to the Warlock. At each rank the spell must be channeled for at least 3 seconds in order to earn back the mana invested in the initial casting.
Note that this spell does not scale with gear like 
[Drain Life] does, however, the talent 
[Soul Siphon] will increase the mana drained by 5% per Affliction debuff on the target, up to a maximum of 60% additional effect.

Notes
- In an earlier version, Mana Drain did not break crowd control, such as
[Polymorph] or 
[Fear]. However, this has been changed.

Tips and Tactics
- This spell can be very effective when dueling a Priest or Paladin, since each point of mana can offer them a great deal of healing. Outside of duels it is very situational in PvP, as burst damage often is more useful.
- In PvE the spell gets more use against specific bosses in Instances who can heal themselves.
