Cogwheel was an MVP on the UI & Macros Forum, but resigned in late December[1] ("I reached my tolerance threshhold for not telling people what i REALLY think ;)")
Sometime after the UI Add-on Development Policy was introduced, Cogwheel's posts mysteriously vanished, and his then-sticked threads destickied. One of his few remaining posts can be found here. He has not posted since.
Cogwheel is a gnome. Some of his gnomish exploits include:
- Being a former UI & Macros forum MVP
- Authoring numerous addons (see Cogwheel's Workshop)
- Co-authoring a book on writing addons
- Laying waste to sprockets at every opportunity
