Circle of Healing (CoH) is the 41-pt talent of the Priest's Holy tree. It is an instant-cast spell that heals a friendly target and his nearby party members. CoH sees the most use in post-Tier 5 raid encounters found in Battle for Mount Hyjal and the Black Temple. Situationally, it proves useful in some Tier 5 raid encounters (specifically Void Reaver and Doomwalker) but is generally deemed as overkill for Tier 4 encounters (Karazhan, Gruul's Lair).

Notes
- Circle of Healing is the only spammable instant healing spell in the game. Every other healing class in the game has some form of instant cast heal, but each has a cooldown of some type. CoH does not suffer from that limitation. Because of this, CoH is probably the best heal to use when in [Spirit of Redemption] form, where mana is no longer an issue, and time is of the essence.
Talent improvement
[Holy Specialization] increases the throughput of Circle of Healing, as each recipient of the effect can critical heal.
[Surge of Light] and Inspiration do not specifically improve CoH, but both provide additional effects on a CoH critical heal. Many healing builds will have points in Inspiration, but few raid healers can afford the mana or global cooldown cost of using a Surge of Light proc.
[Holy Reach] increases the radius of CoH by 1.5/3 yards. This is equivalent to a 21%/44% increase in the area CoH covers.
Past changes
- Patch 2.0.10 - Circle of Healing mana cost reduced by 25%.
- Patch 2.1.0 - Circle of Healing effect increase.
- Patch 2.3.0 - Circle of Healing: The base amount of healing from this spell has been reduced along with increasing the bonus it receives from bonus healing effects. Characters with more than 1338 healing will see their Circle of Healing heal for more than previous patches. Characters with less than 1338 healing will see their Circle of Healing heal for less.
