Christie Golden is the author of the Warcraft novels Lord of the Clans and Rise of the Horde. She has also written the novel Arthas and the short story I Got What Yule Need, which is featured in Warcraft: Legends.[1] Golden is an experienced writer of "Star Trek: Voyager" novels, and is known for continuing the "Voyager" stories after the conclusion of the series. Under the pen name "Jadrian Bell," she wrote A.D. 999, a highly acclaimed work of historical fantasy.

Golden has recently finished writing the Dark Templar Saga, a trilogy set in Warcraft's counterpart universe of StarCraft. She is set to write a new Warcraft novel trilogy for release sometime in 2009,[2] though no other details are available at this time.

Christie Golden finished writing World of Warcraft: Arthas in 2009 which reached number 16 on the New York Times bestseller list. Her participation in the Warcraft: Legends Manga.[3] was well received also.

Ms. Golden lives with her boyfriend and cats in Denver, Colorado. She plays on the Wyrmrest Accord server, and does not release the names of her PCs.
