There are four "Elemental Lords" which are the supreme rulers of their respective elements. Those Elemental Lords were the "elemental lieutenants" of the Old Gods. There are also elemental lords that are not of the four main Elemental Lords. Also, the four main Elemental Lords have subordinates that are referred to as their (elemental) lieutenants. The lieutenants of the four main Elemental Lords may be elemental lords themselves. Dividing it by capitalization {Elemental Lord/elemental lord) will not work, as you can find either version for both levels of lord. Right now, the very existence of other lords is marked as speculative, when they obviously exist, just not on the level as the main ones. What should be done?--{{User:Sandwichman2448/Sig}} 20:22, 4 January 2011 (UTC)

Should this article be categorized in the Lore category? AltoSir 08:47, 10 August 2006 (EDT)

I've moved this to "Elemental Lord" as that is what they are called in the majority of the published books :p... "elemental lieutenant" gets used for more than just Elemental Lords, for example Ambassador Infernus. In MG, Garr and Geddon are referred to as liutenants as well. Additionally elemental lieutenant does get used occasionally for elementals, including ragnaros in the rpg, but its always lower case, where as Elemental Lord is almost always upper case title, and only refers to the four lords.Baggins 05:56, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

Frost Lord

Frostlord

"Frostlord"

In the Patch 2.4.0 files there's a mob called "Frostlord," which resembles Murmur/Ragnaros/Thunderaan. I doubt he'll be showing up in 2.4, so perhaps he will be in Wrath. An instance boss like Murmur perhaps? On the other hand, he has a "birth" animation, so he could in fact be summoned. Uploaded the pic. --Shinny 00:17, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Or summoned in the instance, like Rag is. He looks like Frostmourne come to life IMSO.--SWM2448 00:41, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
There's a matching Forst Lord Core object, which shatters in it's death animation, likely releasing him. He's using a sickle, so doubt he's anything to do with frostmourne, but i agree he does resemble it himself. I don't see how this fits into the current game, so it being WotLK content is likely. Oddly they've put some of the shattered sun stuff under Expansion 02 :s -- Zeal (talk - contr) 16:52, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
Until this model is cited somewhere as appearing in-game, it should be removed. I flagged the image with {{violation}}.--Gengar orange 22x22 Fandyllic (talk · contr) 5:01 PM PST 18 Feb 2008
Well it looks like he won't be a WotLK boss, but the Midsummer event boss. There's a quest to summon him --Shinny 01:08, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
He's weapon file name is Polearm_2h_Northrend_d_03.m2
On the other hand, he has a "birth" animation, so he could in fact be summoned. Uploaded the pic.
Murmur has a birth animation too, but you don't summon him--Gorund 08:58, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Therazane

Is she the one that seduced (which A. defies the laws of attraction because she's god ugly) the Cenarion dude? Or is that her daughter?  IconSmall HighElf Male Mr.X8 Talk Contribs 03:57, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

elemental lord confusion

Im a little confused, at first they said there where 4 elemental lords Ragnaros, Al'akir, Neptulon and Therazane But then they add Cyrukh, Murmur and Ahune which they seem to be related to the outlands, does it mean each planet has it own elemental lords and these 3 are outland versions of the elemental lord for example cyrukh seems to be corrupted by fel but he names the fire lord, can i say that cyrukh is green from fel because thats the most near thing to fire in the outlands (fel fire) or the area that hes summoned is the only source he could find fire if somebody could explain it to me please do.--Ashbear160 22:27, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Well, technically there are many "Firelords". Just being a Firelord, or an Abyssal Lord, etc, doesn't make one part of the Elemental Lords (notice the capitalization). They can be elemental lords lower case I suppose, but that would be something different. I think even Thunderaan might have been described as a lord somewhere as well, but he's not part of the capitalized Elemental Lords.Baggins (talk) 21:40, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
I guess the same goes for Lokholar the Ice Lord?Dakovski (talk) 04:47, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

Good Old God?

Well, if there is a good Elemental Lord, then wouldn't that mean that the Old God that created the Elemental Lord is good? Battm7 (talk)

1) Old Gods didnt nessesarly create the Elementals/Elemental Lords.
2) It's sepculation. Good Elemental Lord does not imply good Old God
3) If it were plausuble it would belong on the Old Gods page, not here.Warthok Talk Contribs 23:22, 13 December 2008 (UTC)

About that comment that some of them are working for the good of azeroth.....is there ANY indication of that? The Abyssal Council deals with the Twilight Hammer which Definitely has NO ones best interests in mind. Duke Hydraxis is the only non hostile water elemental I can think of off hand, and he's using us as much as trying to help us from what I can see. I don't think I have actually seen any other non hostile elementals actually, unless maybe you count the fire elemental shaman summon, though my summoned felguard is also non hostile but no one would call it friendly or good. --Darkling235 12:33, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

What is the name of the "good" Elemental Lord? Rolandius Paladin (talk - contr) 12:53, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
Therazane is more or less benign. More "not as evil" than "good".--SWM2448 01:38, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
Oh as in alignment? Ya she is lawful neutral which is a bit "nicer" than the other Elementals Lords. Rolandius Paladin (talk - contr) 03:25, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

Capitalization

Could we get a consensus on if this word is all capitalized or not? Although the article says that the four lords are always capitalized, I found that the word elemental lord is used a few times and Dark Factions and Lands of Conflict said Ragnaros was an "elemental lord" twice in each book. In WoW, there are two NPCs named Lord Incendius and Lord Roccor. Also, even though the quest for The Amphitheater of Anguish: From Beyond! spells it "elemental lords", it also spells Elemental Plane as "elemental plane".
