Traleon Llane, always a shy being, is the brother of the famed Irulon Doomfist. He had once been kind to his younger brother, practicing combat and enjoying life. However, tragedy struck when his home was attacked. After finding Irulon once more, he had succumbed to the force he had escaped years earlier. Now Traleon only hungers for his brother's blood, and he will find it if given the opportunity.

Childhood Tragedy

Traleon was born not three years before Irulon. He lived in Deathknell as a quiet fellow who had few friends. As he grew, his family began to feel uncomfortable in his presence. He had often admired Warlocks and Rogues because of their dark arts and murderous missions. Then, at some unknown time, he had gathered a tome from a robed man who promised him that all of his wishes would come true. In a way, they all did. But not the way Traleon expcted.

The Scourge had arrived at their town to feast upon the living and raise them as their own. Traleon was awoken by an apparently distraught Irulon. When they peeked out through a window, they were instinctively thrown back from fear. Unliving creatures had begun tearing at their walls. Feeling hopeless, their parents said their goodbyes and pushed Irulon and Traleon into a basement room and locked it tight. Confused, Traleon begun to head up the stairs to knock on the door, when he heard the shrieks of his parents. He had adored the idea of fear and corruption, but in an instant he had regretted his practices and sobbed quietly. Irulon had left him alone until there was nothing but the wind to hear. The two found items in the cellar and eventually broke through the door. They stood upon a wrecked town with not a soul to accomodate them. Irulon and Traleon head out together to warn King Terenas until Traleon started to daydream of his visions. He lost sight of Irulon and began to worry. Understanding the futility of tracking his brother down, he looked for help in Dalaran. He believed that the magi could aid him and possibly all of Lordaeron from this new threat.

By the time he had reached the city, it was in ruins. However, he caught a glimpse of Arthas and the lich Kel'Thuzad. He also saw the dreadlord Tichondrius, as well as their minions. The fear caused him to go into shock and he went unconscious. He awoke in Pyrewood Village, where the villagers tended to him until they pushed him out of town just before the moon shined. He was confused, but was told not to question them. He head far until he reached Southshore. The Alliance there decided to bring him to Stormwind on a gryphon, where he would be protected within Stormwind walls.

Enter the Militia

Preferring life on a farm, Traleon quickly head out to Westfall, where he reported to Gryan Stoutmantle. Gryan gave Traleon directions on earning his own pay, as well as inducting him into the People's Militia. He helped them slay gnolls and Defias member until he became of age to own his own farm.

After a few years, his brother Irulon had returned from the Scourge war in Northrend after victories in three dark dungeons. Miraculously, Traleon found him near the Saldean farm and they greeted each other with brotherly love. Irulon followed his brother to the farm where he was told of his story, until Defias assassins invaded the home and ambushed Traleon. Irulon had time to defend, but Traleon was unarmored and unprepared. Irulon buried Traleon near the farm in sorrow.

Rise

When a local necromancer from Duskwood had come by to raise more gnolls to his cause, he found Traleon's grave and was intrigued. His first time raising a human being, he prepared himself. However, the strength of the ressurection ripped all of the lifeforce from him and he combusted. However, the spell cast without him and Traleon rose as one of the angry dead. His limp, almost-lifeless body subtley head near Deadwing Pass, where a dark power lured him. Forsaken soldiers, stationed near a portal, had found and took him in. There, they tended to his broken body and allowed him to prove his fighting skills. If he was strong enough, they would let him live, but if not, they planned on tearing his body into useful pieces. Traleon showed a considerable effort in close-combat skills, and so they prepared him for battle.

Demanding vengeance on the Scourge, he was personally sent to Lady Sylvanas Windrunner in a fury mustered by his sadness. He despised his existence in unlife, and promised revenge on anyone who reanimated the unfortunate. She let him prove his skills until he was ready to fight in Northrend. Flying to the glacier itself, he was intent on destroying the heart of the Scourge. After landing from his bat, he stepped on the cold metal staircase that was Icecrown Citadel. Before making it up, however, he saw a battle brewing between Forsaken and living. He had his promises to the Forsaken that he had to fulfill, so he jumped in. During battle, though, he saw his brother fighting for his life. At first he felt happy seeing his long-lost brother, but that happiness turned to confusion as to why he was killing his new friends, then to sorrow that he would not accept his undead brother, then to anger as he envied Irulon's life. He quickly left his fight and attacked Irulon from behind. He revealed himself, until troops of the Argent Crusade had arrived, to which he fled.

Bitterness

Traleon became a constant bother for Irulon, either directly or not. In an especially notable time, when some of the [Crusade] member had been resting, including Irulon, Traleon snuck in and nabbed his armor. Not believing he could kill his brother with all of the paladins around, he fled the scene. It would be a long time before Irulon and Traleon had seen each other again.

Cataclysm

This section concerns content related to Cataclysm.

Traleon Llane, angry for revenge against his brother, has given up his code of revenge on reanimators and now even supports the ressurection of Lordaeron human corpses. In the wake of the Cataclysm, he followed forsaken allies to a familiar refuge: Southshore. Aiding in its destruction, Traleon has slowly begun to diminish the links to his old life.
