Adamman the Trader is named after the undead priest "Adamman" from the guild Fires of Heaven on Black Dragonflight US.
As the dialogue states, Adamman was punished by Blizzard for win trading and selling points. However, Adamman's rogue's (Merciless) gear was taken away by GMs while his priest was left untouched.
Adamman achieved a rating of 2000+ on his rogue fairly, however, this only occurred after he gained all the best arena items through win trading and point selling.
